Mario Kart 8,a game made for the Wii U but ported to the switch.On the switch, it revolutionised racing games for the Nintendo Switch and was very successful and it got a 93/100 on Metacritic and a 9.5/10 on IGN.
Gameplay
Mario Kart is an unrealistic and fun racing game with a lot of creativity.Even though the game is almost 5 years old,the graphics are dated and it’s still great for graphics on eighth generation consoles. You are a character which fights and uses items to get first place while racing with eleven other opponents.But you can play with your family and friends with multiplayer mode as the maximum capacity is 4 people which is great for playing together. By the way, there are various modes that are fun and entertaining to watch.Some can be frustrating and hard as teams go fight each other for eliminations and if you go solo and you got the item everyone wants or needs to win the game, you will get targeted and it could get very intense
Controls
The control style playing as a team is ok as there is not many buttons and you need some time to get used to.It can be easy to handle as you can have many controller varieties. You can tilt or you can automatically drive without pressing a button.Some can be frustrating and hard as teams go fight each other for eliminations and if you go solo and you got the item everyone wants or needs to win the game, you will get targeted and it could get very intense.
Modes
The modes of this game are Grand Prix, where if you win, you can earn and achieve a trophy depending on what place you are.VS mode is less intense and more casual depending what mode/setting you want the game to run.Battle has an amount of modes to keep you entertained and even though it can be frustrating and can cause you to rage, it’s also fun at the same time.They added a new mode very recently and you can use Nintendo Labo, 03 vehicle kit in order to drive your kart with cardboard.Even though it’s easy to break and it’s cardboard, it can be a great experience for everyone.

1. Hold Items, especially if you’re in first place
2. Check your rear view mirror
3. If you are behind get a slipstream boost
4.Perfect your start of the race boost timing
5. Memorise Double Item Box Locations
6. Hit your stunt boosts on every ramp.
7.While midair, press SR to stunt for more speed
8.Aim for the shortcuts if you can aim them constantly
9. Use deluxe training wheels if you need them
10.The only major unlock is Gold Mario.
